BUTTOCK AUGMENTATION AND RESHAPING
Suitable Candidates for Buttock Augmentation and Reshaping

Buttock reshaping can be performed on women and men, whatever their age, who are unhappy with the appearance of their buttocks.
If you dislike your bottom, then buttock reshaping is the procedure you need.
Obviously, you need to meet your surgeon: he will ask you questions about your health status and will examine you.
At the end of the consultation, he will tell you if you are a good candidate and confirm what options are available.
The surgeon will consider whether you are best treated with implants, the transfer of fat to the buttocks from other parts of the body, or; non-surgical buttock injections.
Buttock implants can give you additional volume and projection in the top 2/3 of the buttocks. Buttock Implants will not increase volume in the lower part of the buttocks, near the bony area on which you sit. This is because you will not be sitting down on your buttock implants. After buttock implants, you will continue to sit as you naturally do with your weight on your thighs and the bony part of the buttock region. after your implant surgery.

Buttock implants cannot be used to increase the outward projection of the hips.
Buttock implants may be useful to lift and support the buttocks.

An ideal candidate has enough fat to liposuction from their abdomen or other areas of the body. It should be understood that not all of the fat transferred to the buttocks will survive, and a repeat procedure is sometimes necessary. Ideally, a patient will have enough excess fat for one or more Brazilian Butt Lift operations.
Fat can also be transferred to the hips, to fill in the ‘hip dips’ that some women dislike.
An ideal candidate will have the physical capacity to carry additional volume, including the necessary tissue elasticity for the degree of augmentation desired. You should be generally healthy, with no significant drooping (ptosis) of the buttocks or obvious skin laxity. An assessment can be carried out at the time of the consultation.

Buttock injections (and fat transfer to the buttocks), can partially or totally fill in the natural indent in the hips, commonly referred to as hip dips.
